White Sky

Currently listening to Contra, Vampire Weekend's latest album and White Sky is so catchy. There's much so much new, different music that I've been listening to on repeat. Some favorites right now are A Fine Frenzy, Camera Obscura, Journey, Bright Eyes, Passion Pit, Matt & Kim, Vampire Weekend, and Weezer (the blue & green album, exclusively.)

Along with new music, there have been a lot of other new additions in and around my life. For one, our town (as I'm sure every teenage girl around here knows and had an anxiety/heart/panic attack) recently got an amazing two-story Forever 21, decked out in chandeliers...seriously extraordinary interior design. I have been there about 7 times in the past 10 days. Secondly, this probably should have first, but I've decided to make BAMF a part of the Haiti relief fund. So we came up with a Miley Cyrus inspired beaded charm bracelet with the option of a HOPE or PEACE charm starting at $4.00. Our HOPE charms are coming in this week so pictures will be up soon. Everything is assembled by hand, packaged by hand, etc. 100% proceeds will be donated to Red Cross. When we get the amount, we'll printscreen the window and post the receipt online (very JumbaFund) so you guys know your well-spent $$$ is really being donated. (;

Thirdly, I'm turning sixteen on Thursday! I have no idea what I want, so I just asked for good old cash from the parentals. But I'm the kind of the girl who likes to dress up and be on the go, go, go so I would love to go out with my favorite ladies in heels, flamboyant earrings, the whole get-up and paint the town red. I'm still thinking...

2010 the year of no fear

2010 is finally here. I don't want to say the past months have gone fast, because with school around, I don't even think that's possible. But I will say that time is slipping through my fingers. Just in the same way I don't see when Fridays are coming (school could go on perpetuously unfortunately), the new year popped up out of nowhere. I just cannot wait til summer pops up out of nowhere. That is my favorite time of the year by far.

This Sunday, Janice and I headed out to the river canal to take some new photos. The weather got into the high 70's and I felt that summer breeze of dryness and heat, a breeze I am quite fond of. It was gr8! We tried to capture the days of summer in these photos. Don't know how well we did but I guess you can be the judge of that.

Enjoy.

No editing on the last pic. That was taken randomly after when we were eating at a Mexican fast food place. To see more & out-takes check out at flickr.com/allaphotography (Amy Lee Los Angeles ALLA Photography).
Oh and I'm also on LOOKBOOK.nu's first page!!! Hahaha. Hype 'moon river' if you ever get the chance by yours truly. I think I'm at 184 hypes? But who's counting? ;)
